340B Health has an immediate opening for a Conference Coordinator at our growing non-profit health care trade association. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Events.
The coordinator supports activities around our two annual conferences, roundtables and webinars, and other operations functions. Help prepare, attend and assist on-site with two national conferences in Washington, DC and California
Manage conference registration process prior to the conferences including answering attendee questions, data input, processing registrations and payments, and refunds after conference
Proof conference program book, event registration, and participant lists
Create and populate data in the conference mobile app
Monitor and respond to event inquiries coming into our general events email account
Help prepare, pack, and ship all on-site materials including directional signage for events
Assist with banquet events including food, beverage, and logistics
Set up for webinars including reviewing event registration lists, respond to requests and send connection information, prepare the room and webinar tool, and support attendees during webinar
Assist with database integrity tasks as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Must be available to work 40 hours a week at our offices in downtown Washington, D.C.
B.A. or above or equivalent experience
One+ years of professional experience, ideally in an association setting
Exceptional writing and organization skills
Self-starter; ability to work independently and monitor own performance objectives
Ability to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must be able to work quickly without compromising accuracy/details
Flexibility and the ability to adjust priorities is a must
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
Adept at working collaboratively with team members across functional units
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
iMIS experience a plus
Limited travel required but must help staff our annual national conference in California.
