Demonstrates working knowledge of medical terminology, effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact with physicians' offices; organizational and time management skills; customer service oriented; skills in maintaining information as highly confidential, and is computer literate. Must have excellent clerical skills.

Knowledge of medical record practices and procedures; knowledge of medical terminology; knowledge of department and personnel policies; Skill in oral and written communication; skill in the operation of computer systems ; Ability to plan, organize and conduct medical records processes in a timely manner.
