Responsible for cleaning and maintaining durable medical equipment, maintaining parts and stock to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Must assist purchasing in ordering parts needed for repair and routine maintenance. Responsible for customer service and delivery person coverage when needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in evaluating and recommending purchases of new equipment.
Assist purchasing with return of any equipment or parts being sent to manufacturer for repair or replacement.
Assist with ongoing compliance related to regulatory and Community Health Accreditation Prater (CHAP).
Delivery person coverage when required.
Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
Ensure that parts inventory is adequate to provide for consumers sales, rental or evaluation needs and is kept clean and in good repair.
Exposure to sensitive information and situations requires a tactful and trustworthy individual to preserve corporate confidentiality.
Field incoming calls from customers regarding repairs.
Function independently according to designated schedule and while on call.
Maintain, clean, and disinfect non-rehab durable medical equipment.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Participate in DME after hours call rotation.
Provide excellent customer service.
Responsible for keeping DME equipment storage areas (both clean and dirty) tidy and uncluttered.
Schedule, deliver, and instruct on initial oxygen setups during normal business hours.
Track all equipment repair and maintenance in Brightree.
Troubleshoot and repair non-rehab durable medical equipment.
Work closely with clients, families, caregivers, clinicians, other health care providers, and other Spectrum Medical staff.
Demonstrate the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
Demonstrate the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
Adheres to dress code.
Attends department staff meetings as required within the department.

Wears identification while on duty.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Valid Montana driver's license with clean driving record.
