• Part Time 30 hours per week
• Monday - Friday 7PM - 12am

• Operates hospital vehicle within the laws of State of Florida; maintains vehicle as expected.
• Safely transports biological specimens and related paperwork according to defined schedule and department expectations.
• Safely transports equipment, supplies, reports and similar items according to department expectations.
• Performs various support activities to facilitate operation of laboratory to meet client’s needs:
• Participates in, and has knowledge of, laboratory and hospital Performance Improvement activities.
• Provides resolution to customer service issues within guidelines.
• Adheres strictly to Florida Hospital Compliance Plan and the rules and regulations of applicable regulatory authorities; protects confidentiality of patient information and results at all times.

• Valid Florida Class âœE❠Driverâ™s License and driving record in accordance with Florida Hospital policy

The Laboratory Courier safely transports laboratory specimens, various equipment, laboratory supplies, patient reports and similar objects between hospitals, campus hospitals and outreach clients. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
