As we continue to chart this bold new course toward the future, we are seeking a Senior Analyst for our Healthcare Advisory Services Team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced, high-performing data analyst to step in to support our existing healthcare advisory services with the potential to grow analytical experience in other markets as we grow our advisory suite of services. You will build upon the highly successful efforts to introduce advisory services and advanced data analytics in our healthcare market, focusing on analysis of strategic, operational, fiscal, experiential and facility data to drive the utmost client value.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Solution Delivery / Design Services
Partner with leadership on healthcare projects to develop comprehensive data requests from client organizations, serving as the client’s point-of-contact for questions regarding fulfillment of the data request and secure uploading of all data to our cloud-based data warehousing solutions
Tenaciously partner with healthcare clients to ensure all data requests are fulfilled on-time, alerting senior project leadership to challenges with data acquisition in a timely manner
Meticulously filter and clean data, identifying gaps in data fulfilment and potentially erroneous data, escalating review of potentially faulty data to senior members of the project team as necessary
Analyze model and graphically represent healthcare oriented strategic, operational, financial, experiential and facility-based data, identifying key trends and resolving data errors and omissions in the process
Assist project team in developing reports and presentations as needed
Perform other ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and support as requested
Supports initiatives for data integrity and normalization
Adhere to all policies and procedures related to data security, integrity and privacy
Working Relationship and Scope
Position location is negotiable with preference for proximity to one of Kahler Slater’s physical offices in Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee or Richmond
Reports to Health Care Market Leader with expectation for development of a collaborative, close working relationship with all members of the design team
Must be willing and able to travel as needed for firm business and client projects (estimate < 25%)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (master’s degree preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a role in a B2B or internal organizational advisory services / data analytics role with knowledge of strategic, operational, financial and consumer segmentation planning for hospitals and health system
Expert-level proficiency in data modeling / analysis focused on advancing a client’s business case as well as their definitions of performance and value
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products and Microsoft BI
Advanced proficiency with SAS and / or Python
Proficiency with SQL or other relevant coding solutions
Ability to exercise sound business judgment in project prioritization in a fast-paced environment emphasizing speed-to-market
Self-driving initiative and personal accountability with the ability to move initiatives forward independently, building alignment along the way
Ability to successfully manage up, down and across to implement on-time and on-budget within a highly collaborative and all-around nice team of people
Must be able to effectively balance multiple tasks, work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy under strict deadlines
