Job Summary: Manages and directs the Triage, Order Entry, Intake, 3rd Party Billing Reject and Medical Records departments toward their primary objectives, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate leads. Key Responsibilities:
Establish current and long-range objectives, plans, and policies, subject to approval by the Omnicare Management.
Dispense advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies.
Ensure all prescriptions are entered into the system correctly and accurately with current payor information.
Review operating results of the organization, compare them to established objectives, and take steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
Control payroll costs.
Establishes and maintains an effective system of communications throughout the organization.
Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.

Minimum (Required) Qualifications: (must be met in order to perform the job at the required level)
Working knowledge of Microsoft products
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Preferred Qualifications: (if above and beyond the minimum required)
Two to four years related experience and/or training in a long term care pharmacy environment
Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. 1+ years of managerial experience
Licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
Preferred Qualifications 1+ years related experience and/or training in a long term care pharmacy environment
Solid understanding of Microsoft products
Demonstrated success utilizing organizational skills to ensure details and accuracy
Ability to maintain composure on phone when handling customer calls
Established proficiency utilizing verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record to work independently, meet timelines and be flexible and manage a team
Basic math and analytical skills
Education High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
