The incumbent is responsible for providing leadership, direction, coordination, organization, planning, monitoring, reporting and implementation of pharmacoeconomic and procurement program. The activities in this program shall focus on VA National Formulary compliance; medication conversions; drug utilization evaluations, treatment pathway assessments (economic and clinical); patient health outcomes; health-related quality of life assessments, medical education, and information communication. The position requires extensive knowledge and skills in using databases for pharmacoeconomic analysis.
