The Strategic Planning Analyst will work closely with Strategy leadership to support the Business Development and Growth Planning functions within the Office of Strategy. Partnering with Regional Leaders and Service Line Leaders, and the broader Strategic Planning team, the analyst will manage the business planning process for assigned markets and/or service lines. This position will provide market insight through data analytics such as competitor evaluation, market share, demographic trends, and growth projections. This position will be highly visible throughout the BSWH organization and will support projects of considerable value.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND STRATEGIC PLANNING SUPPORT
1.Under the direction of the Office of Strategy leadership, the manager will support the business planning process by coordinating, developing, and presenting business, market, or project plans for new and/or existing programs, projects, and/or services of broad strategic significance to BSWH.
2.Develops and maintains projection models for value stream analysis.
3.Collaborates with finance personnel in support of developing financial pro-formas for business plans.
4.Coordinates market-related, financial, and internal case/encounter data, and analyzes information from all components of the organization.
5.Develops integrated analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
6.Retrieves and analyzes external market and internal volume history, trends, and forecasts for the annual planning cycle.
7.Creates and presents environmental assessments for assigned markets and/or service lines.
8.Conducts detailed competitor, service portfolio, and market opportunity analyses.
9.Conducts physician need and medical staff development planning analyses
10.Creates and maintains balanced scorecards to track organizational alignment and achievement of customer objectives and initiatives.
11.Remains abreast of trends in strategic planning, the market, and the broader health care industry.
12.Performs other general support and decision support activities as needed.
13.Performs other position-appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional, and courteous manner.
The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills; is proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point, and have experience in accessing data from online sources such as proprietary and government-sponsored sources.

- EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree Required
- EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 3 years experience Required
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point, and have experience in accessing data from online sources such as proprietary and government-sponsored sources, Desired; We will train on specific online and internal tools and databases
- Proprietary systems such asPower BI, MicroStrategy, SG2 and various other tools and online services, Highly Preferred
- Prior healthcare industry experience in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Market Research, or Financial Planning functions Highly Preferred
- Medical Coding (ICD-10, CPT-4, HCPCS) experience, Highly Preferred
