Reviews, analyzes, modifies, creates, debugs, designs, and tests applications using modern development methodologies and tools and oversees this activity by others. Works directly with the business to establish project scope and milestones and ensure the project is meeting the business needs.
Work with the business and IT stakeholders to create workflows, working demos, and POC's prior to full deployment within the ServiceNow environments
ServiceNow advanced knowledge and experience with development in a lead capacity
Accountable for reviewing solution designs, peer code reviews, architecture collaboration, and working closely with operational support team through deployment.
Responsible for individual and the team's implementation in code and documentation of all system changes based on assignments and time lines.
Develops and follows department coding and user interface guidelines.
Oversees and provides code review, testing, debugging, technical documentation, general testing instructions, go-live planning, assistance in go-live moves, and post-live support.
Communicates any and all progress, roadblocks, issues to the team and management in a timely manner.
Provides training and documentation to team members on new development assignments.
Trains and mentors staff members
Develops and presents an approach for a solution to the team stakeholders.
Ensures support turnover documentation is provided as required.
Performs technical interviews and evaluates potential new team members.
