The Veterans Healthcare Administration Podiatry Department is recruiting for Registered Nurses in the Podiatry Clinic at the ATLANTA VA/Pike County HealthCare System facility locations. Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Authorized. Accountable for meeting and maintaining the qualification standards and functional statements of assigned grade. Provide direct patient care and facilitate the admission of patients into the Podiatry clinic. Initiates the data intake process and physical assessment, plan of care, and administration of wound therapies, Documents response to treatments, changes in patient's condition, and provides patient education Follows established guidelines for documentation in CPRS unique to the Podiatry Clinic and make sound contributions in the planning, implementing and evaluation of nursing care Supports the Podiatry clinic serving full time VA Podiatry physicians and Podiatric Surgical Residents. Support and provides oversight of the tissue management program sustaining regulatory compliance for the use of solid tissue in the Podiatry Clinic.
