Atlantic Health System is seeking per-diem Medical Office Associate for the AMG outpatient office at Atlantic Medical Group in Monmouth County.
The MOA will assume responsibility for front desk duties such as managing phones, checking in patients upon arrival, scheduling and confirming appointments, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, scanning documents into the electronic medical record, processing medical records releases, managing Industrial Practice Billing and Coding, ordering office supplies, and other clerical duties as assigned.
High School Diploma required
Prior administrative experience in a physician practice or medical office
Strong computer skills and front-line customer service skills essential
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products essential
Experience with an EMR system preferred
Ability travel to different practices if necessary
Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate practice hours
Must be available to work evening shifts and rotating weekend shifts
